ugly stick bluewater spin rod

hi every one im getting a shimanno saragosa 18000f for xmas and was just wondering would the ugly stick bluewater spin rod its a 5'6 37 kg rod and just wondering if it would be good tp pair up would it be good for catching mulloway or even small sambos what every ones oppinion even if you own one tell me what yoy think of it thanx 4 any input welcome mike.

They are great rods for the price. Robust, great action and loaded with Fuji Alconite guides and HD reel seat.

Question is how are you using this rod???

When you mentioned mulloway and small sambos..... it is an 80lb rod. They can handle alot more than mulloway and small sambos. They are mainly designed as a jigging rod. Are you bottom fishing with it??

well thats good to know i knew they were good but didnt think they would hold up  so i guess im relly keen on this rod the. yeh i will be bottom bashing with like from rock walls or jettys as ima land based fisho

Mate IMO that is over kill as for the fishing you are talking about that is toooo heavy and could have a lot more fun with the same sucsess with a lighter rod

The Bluewater Jig rod range are far too short for landbased use. I suggest check out the longer versions. 7ft and over, and perhaps go for a 24kg model. We got them in store so feel free to drop by and check them out.
