Upgrade from the yak
After saving for a boat for a few years now, i just couldn't find/afford what i wanted and the ocean trips on the yak were starting to take a toll on my knees and back, and along with selling our house i decided an upgrade was needed. These fit the bill nicely. Quick fun easy to launch and retrieve solo my range has gone from 4km to 150km, yes it is a very expensive upgrade and i could've got a boat but with the kids still too young to join, im still limited to quick short trips and what better way to do it than jumping waves on the way to the spots. I grabbed it new and fridays fitted a secondary battery, bilge and light bar for me. I'm still yet to blood it with a keeper but with only 2 trips under the belt things take time. Its a different fishing style to the yak and I've gotta sharpen my skills a little. Hopefully I'll have some pics to post soon.

Good onya- I spent years
Good onya- I spent years Jetski fishing. Great fun that's for sure, although I broke my foot behind Garden Island a few years ago( caught out by a wave in close-flew over the top of it,and landed badly)
Great to tow behind family SUV. I've taken mine from Walpole to Kalbarri, and in between. Clocked up over 1000 hours on the Ski- sold now.
But - now I have the boat, and enjoying the comfort.
Have fun.
My Dad taught me how to Fish-Thanks Dad.(RIP)
