urgent salmon advise required/ clock ticking

Im in need of some probably commonsensical advise. ive yet to catch my first salmon off the beach ever. yesterday i hooked 6 salmon in 2 hrs, spotted the school (hamerlin/contos) cast the 55grm twisty and hooked up . played the fish all the way to the shore only to have one last jump and shake my lure free. 6 in a row. you could say i was a little disappointed. i fought the fish well but it was like the exact same way the fight ended each time. ive got today left and am hungry to strike this one off my checklist. ive got a new 8000 shimano saragosa. with that diawa 30lb pro braid 120$ a roll. a 10ft surf rod. please help??80lb leader 1mtr long penn 10x. all twistys are new with sharp trbles

Could try winding on a topshot of mono for a bit of stretch (easier to keep tension on). Otherwise, changing the hook to a single may get a more secure hookup.

use a big 6/0 gamagatzsu circle
dont rush the fight - a mulie on ganged hooks works well too

where's ya mate?
hahaha, one of my mates has usually run down the beach and grabbed the fish and made off with it before i can get it on the shore. sneaky prks
keep tension would be tantamount. maybe ask someone to walk down into the wash and net it?
you'd have to be unlucky though to loose six fish at the shore.
silver lining: ya hooked/fought 6 salmon! thats a good start.
i'm 2 trips/4 days into this season and not a salmon to show.
silver lining: 2 nice bluefin and a but-load of herring. another good start.
good luck.

Salmon
We were down a Hamelin a fortnight ago, and we probably only landed about 50% of the fish we had hooked, they are very good at throwing the hooks in the last stages of the fight. Unfortunately I think it's just par for the course using metals on salmon. Maybe one thing you could do is replace the treble with a single hook, that would hold better.
Another thing is as Wopjrb suggested, mulie on a set of gangs, they very rarely fail.
Keep persevering , if you are getting the hookups its just a matter of time.

I got into Salmon today.
I got into Salmon today. Don't run trebles. As everyone else has suggested... use SINGLE hooks.
I didn't lose any fish today... and they were all jumping a handful of times during the fight.
