Used boat warranty

hi all still searching for a new tub up to 40k
Question what is the warranty if any purchased from a dealer ?
and what if that boat was on consignment
Just interested to know weighing up the pros and cons of purchasing private or dealer

Warranty
Some dealers (like allboats for example) give a 90 day warranty on the consignment boats they sell. They also put them through the workshop for an inspection so they know what they are selling. At other consignment places though they are just brokering the deal so you have no warranty at all. There have been some stories on here recently where dealerships try to make things right even though they aren't technically obliged to so they make sure their name stays strong.
I don't know if there are too many 'dealer owned' used boats for sale.

I can personally vouch for Challenge Marine as a consignment dealer who did the righty by me straight after I bought the boat and 4 months down the track.
