Caught out bom and seabreeze 15/20 knots for today, please explain the smog and 5 knots at hillarys this morning, need to go back to old school, get up and check

I always refer Perth weather prediction from Seabreeze, as what to expect Offshore and seams to be pretty well on the mark most of the time if compared to Rotto live. They probably should change the head to offshore winds or Rotto and not Perth.

Best to use Meteye on the BOM website. Shows winds at different locations in three hourly periods, up to 7 days in advance.

Don't know I didn't look. But I would say from my experience MetEye is around 90% accurate from 3-4 days out.

Why
do so many fishos rely on seabreeze for 'offshore' wind conditions when it is a wind forecaster for 'onshore' conditions for windsurfers/kite boarders?

but the same stuff is on Bom sites,my gripe was how can they forecast 15/20 and theres smog and fog because it is so calm, bet they don't have KPIs you must get it right!!
