VRO Oil tank difference

Good evening fellow FWers,
Just wondering is there a difference between VRO pumps that are in the tank between a 1993 150hp Johnson and a 1998 90hp Evinrude? I have just purchased the latter type and was going to fit it to my 150. The only difference I can physically see is the tank is considerably larger. Any advice would be a great help. Thankyou.

There is no pump in the tank,
There is no pump in the tank, just a level sensor. A bulb primes the oil to the vro pump, which is part of the fuel pump assembly on your engine.

Thanks Mr Meks,
So it should have no bearing on the performance of the VRO system, therefore. I will be changing back over to using the VRO system next week and looks as though I have kept the integrity of the system since I disconnected.
