Went down to Walpole over the week.. I will post a few forums topics about the different situations..  Apparently there had been huge amounts of rain and hail storms down there a couple of days before we got there..  Not understanding quite how heavy it had been we tried fishing out in the Nornalup/Walpole inlet only to discover that the water was pitch black and almost tasted fresh. 

Took a few photos out near the mouth of water movement and how black it was..  The whole of the ocean as far as the eye could see was black inlet water and even travelling 10 kms down the coast to blue holes and bellanger beach resulted in chocolate barrels and very unfishy looking water.  Beach fishing was given a miss as a result.
