Outwide, i managed to catch a sambo on friday night. It swallowed a pair of snelled 6 mustad's so was in no state to release. Decided to give it a try for a feed the next morning, tasted bloody awesome! was suprised as they have very bad ratings, thought i would try it for myself

The only reason Sambo's are

The only reason Sambo's are rated bad to eat is because they generally have worms in the flesh and when you cook them they become mushy and unpalatable. Smaller ones are usually pretty safe but the big ones are full of worms. Gotta agree though, they are really nice to eat if you get a good one :)

Caught many types of fish outwide from Warpole including a sambo of 4 or 5kg.

We had a cook up that night a bit of everything and that sambo rated right up there.
