I saw them on one of the fishing shows and they nearly couldn't get the guy's keys back to the surface!

Sorry to be a party pooper, but they're nearly 100% useless now that everyone remote door locking.

Best thing to do is to lock your car with your non-remote key, even if that means leaving the electronic one in the car. Then take the other key with you around your neck or the like.

I think that was the one they had on Dragon's Den (or a copy, ahahaha). A show where people pitch business ideas to millionaires looking for an investment.

In the boat, the keys are in a waterproof container (which will float, but i guess doesnt work for any boat keys), but quite annoying going surfing when the damn car keys are remote integrated. Not even sure if some cars you can by non-electronic integrated keys?

A lot of cars still come with one non-remote key, or they're available if you ask. It may not start the car, but it can lock it.

Its for those occasions like surfing, or diving etc where you would void your insurance if you leave a key outside the car.

Definitely a fishing show, can't remember if it was paxavenos or worstling.

Well, see if you can get a copy cut for the others and leave the remote in the car. Its can be a bit tricky, but you can even do it for audis, just takes more shopping around.

Its an occasional bitch that comes up on dive sites ;)
