Water Manifold for Deckwash, tanks etc

After drooling over Matts Stabi 2750 video, its inspired me to get my water management sorted out.

Im going to run fresh or salt water through a changeover valve, into the deckwash pump and then onto a manifold with manual valves for Deckwash, killtank, livey tank, shower etc.

Im trying to source the right valves, and connection system that will handle the rigours of a fishing boat, but be compact enough for the transom setup I have.

Anyone had experience doing this before? Got any suggestions?

I've got a set up on my new boat, but i've kept my fresh and salt water systems seperate. This is because you don't want to cut your seawater supply to live bait tanks etc every time you want to use it. You also dont want to be wasting fresh water to purge out the salt water each time.

The pump drawn in your setup looks like a diaphram pump, these pumps are generaly not designed for continuous duty and are very noisy. You want something with an impeller and is rated for continous duty and the flow rates you need.

I've got two 1100 pumps that are mounted to thru hull high speed pickups in my bildge. I'm running shurflo baitmaster pumps which have a magnetic impeller so if anything gets stuck in them they dont burn the pump out (seaweed etc).

The outlet of those go to a manifold where the water gets directed to my livebait tank and my front and rear tuna tubes. Everythings got ball valves so I can isolate different systems at different times and I can also have redundency with my pumps so if I loose one I still have livies.

I have a 3rd diaphram pump also that can be connected to my manifold in an emergency.

My freshwater has a couple of ports around the boat but is a completely different system with only one pump.

Cheers

 I have similar Paully though

I have similar Paully though a bit simpler.
Dont use the live bait tank except to bleed out fish.

Get an L port or T port valve to swap SW to FW
Agree with Luke that it does use a bit of fresh water to flush hose but I dont have a FW tank so just a 1 meter hose tail which goes either in a bucket of warm water for a shower or a water jerry.

To save the flushing water swap to salt and squirt back in jery til salt comes.
FW shower is great even just for after a dive, you dry much quicker.

Down side-to buy an L/T port valve SS here is several hundred just for a 1/2" or 3/4"
Buy off Ebay

Why are you running it to kill tank?

Should look at a check valve on your fresh water line imo

All good points.
The Diaphragm pump into the live tank is purely for filling, and washout. It has its own circulation pump and pickup.

I like the idea of the changeover switch, as it allows me to flush everything prior to stowage.

What make of valves are you using, and what piping?
