weather

hi

have just brought my new/secondhand boat, southwind sf655 with the 200 yammy and was wanting to know what is the best weather for fishing behind rotto.

i have had a smaller boat and have manly fished the bank at garden island all the time and as long as it was no more than 15kts winds, 1.5seas and 1.5swell was ok to go out.

now with the bigger boat i want to go further and would like to know the best wind dirrection, speed, swell, seas to go out behind rotto and maybe to the fads and try some trolling and some deep sea bottom bouncing.

also if anybody would bee so kind to give me some gps cordinates for some deep sea fishing spots in perth, (mandurah-two rocks) would be great, i dont expect you to give me premium spots but anything to get me out there would be fine

any help you can give will be great

ron

the east or south east winds

the east or south east winds are good, but realy any winds are ok as long as they are not too strong , just got to watch the turn as it will take around an hour  or so to get back in average conditions from the back of rotto (depends how far out back). the swell and so forth all depends on weather you dont mind a bit of turbulance but watch out if the swell is over 3mtrs . as far as fishing deep goes anywhere out from the 70mtr mark just look for ground( if your going from metro)as there is plenty of it out there
