were thinking about getting a couple of pots and a cray licence. prob will be we wont be able to get out every day to check them.
do they need to be checked every day or can you leave them for a few.

depending on the bait you put in the pot ..... sea lice eat out fish bait very quickly so you need to check daily....I use samon and I can get two to three days out of them ..... cow hide was the best but you are not allowed to use now !!!!

work mate wants to try for carys this year so we will be using mullet, until then going to hit the salmon this week and stuff the pots with them.
i found it too hard doing it solo last year so I gave up early, having the extra pair of hands should make it tolerable and save the back a bit this season.
