Weed report Guilderton

heading to Guilderton for the weekend taking the boat for the river and chasing some bream, and going to try the beach for hopefully some herring into tailor and hopefully into a mulloway if everything lines up.
Anybody been up there lately? Much weed around? Anything being caught?

I'm there nearly every day, weed today had decreased a lot from the weekend, tomorrow would be the day to go. If the wind goes to the S or SW you will cop weed on the weekend for sure.

Hi mate, took the tinny up there over the weekend along with the surf rods, kids had a ball catching bream in the river. The weed did not look too bad Friday arvo/ Saturday morning. Came up with a plan to hit the beach Saturday arvo......... Mmm rain and weed. We persisted for a few hours till it got dark ( kids back at camp with mums) and managed 2 tailor each. Lost a few. Weed was a pain, as it is but there were fish in the clear pockets. I would not have liked to hook a Jew, would have lost it for sure.

Anyone been up there this week? Thinking of a visit the weekend. Long way to travel to fish in weed though.
