weekend fish from warnbro sound
Howdy all
had a good 2 days fishing over the weekend.
went out saturday with a mate, had a good day productive enough for me 
2 released snapper 46 and 48 cm
2 small nannygui released
1 just size fox fish (released it )
2 scorpian fish released
1 snapper 57cm MY FIRST SIZED ONE keeper
1 black arse 33cm size but released it anyway
1 black arse 47cm keeper

i took my son and his girlfriend out sunday fist time she had been fishing.
plenty of stuff to keep her happy.
penty of undersize flathead were caught and released,whiting and skippy to have fun with kept a few sized ones just for a feed.
also landed a black tip reef shark,nice little fight that gave let it go to live another day.
also got a shovel nose to end the morning.
we had a lovely morning outthere.anyway back to work on wed after 5 weeks off

It sure was great weather and there's been a real mixed bag caught this weekend. Congrats on your first sized snapper....hope there's more to come. Nice black arse, too, dakka.
The shark would have been fun on light gear.
Going back to work after 5 weeks off isn't going to be alot of fun

you should have kept the shark not bad eating at that size!! pity your going back to work the weather is looking not bad come wednesday onwards

sorry guys my mistake i should have said on sat days trip out with a mate we were out in 90m of water, i didnt realy know were we were.
so the snapper was not caught in warnbro sound during the ban my bad, i was just happy to post my catch as this was my first sized snapper,sorry if people think i have kept an ileagle fish.

Nice catch - I got 3 just undersize snaps on saturday - heaps of them about - gonna be a great season in a years time for snaps I reckon.
