A welcome feed

 Been a few weeks since the whiting have shown themself . Went down for a quick session between doing my run and my next truck coming in.  Certainly looking forward to the fresh feed of whiting.

 Sometimes panko . But mostly the easiest way

Wash the fillets and straight into a flour mix of s r flour , lemon pepper seasoning and cracked black pepper. I sit them in the fridge for a while and the good coating of flour goes gluggy. When you deep fry the flour coating goes crispy and the fish stays moist. Served with chips or slaw a quick easy meal and a lot less messy than bread crumbs

 Must admit that's my go-to for most fish Russ, except I generally skip the lemon pepper unless it's stronger fish like herring. I've found that cornflour gives a really nice crispy coating.
