What dog do you have

Laughing at the epirb bit made me think about dogs and
owners.
I have a toy bichon, a cross blue heeler cattle dog and a Groodle - std poodle x golden retriever. The best dog ever no doubt fun wise.

Two dogs....a 13 year old
Two dogs....a 13 year old Staffy X...the dumbest and most pig headed dog you'll ever come across. Also have a 18 month old Bull Arab X that had been abandoned at the Wanneroo pound over a year ago. Given the behavoural issues it exhibited early on I could see why they just gave up on it but he has turned into the biggest, gentlest sook I've ever had. The missus had a feeling about him when she saw his pic on a FB Pets of Perth page and we weren't let down.

Great dog! Awesome with kids. I'm lucky enough to be able to take her into work (landscape supply yard) she greets every car that drives in, then when I jump on the loader she runs in front of the bucket as if she's trying to round up a big bull. It freaks people out how close she gets to the bucket. If children come in she is straight over to them with a stick to throw. Will definitely get another Heeler when her time is up.

8yo farm/sheep dog rescued from the Wheatbelt as a pup.
The sheep farmers don't desex their working dogs, so if they can't give the pups away, they apparently kill them.
Cost me $250, which was for worming and the dudes travel cost. This muthafucker is the smartest dog I've ever known!! Goes everywhere with us. Wished I hadve grabbed the whole litter to be honest.

Nice dog Vince.. Mine simular 65kg Mastiff x Bandog male and 45kg Mastiff x Ridgeback female. Very fit and active mates. Cant rely on the law to protect our places anymore so I just leave our home protection to my big buddy's..Enter at own risk and if you do I hope you get out.

mack (sitting) he's a staffy cross bull terrier, he's 3 weighs in around 35kg. new member to the family. absolute nugget of a dog. needs work with other dogs but fine with stella.
stella (laying down) english mastiff bull mastiff cross she's 2. weighs in around 55kg. always comes fishing with me when solo, bloody sooks when she cant come.
both dogs are awesome with my 5 year old son, mack crys if he doesnt come outside and play.
just dont come to far up the driveway or try to hop the fence

the eldest is 9 and we have his 5 month old son as well. Both awesome dogs with my 3 year old son.
my parents have been breeding labs longer than I have been alive (and show them at the Royal show ect) so always grown up with them. If you have the patience to get past the first 2-3 crazy puppy years they are just awesome dogs after that.

We rescued this dog as a 6 week old pup from a violent person and now is 9 years old ..... I have spent most of my time on the farm and had many of the red cloud dogs ( sheep dogs ) and I can say this is one smart dog ...... I have taught it to my whistle which makes it funny in suburban rounding up the gran children .....

Was on gumtree and thought I got Staffy x Blue Heeler. When we got her desexed got a dna test cause she was geeting a bit big really quick... though she was a bull arab after 5 months. Test came back with two random parents.
Dad: Ridgeback x mastiff x bullmastiff x undetermined breed (cattle dog/ ibizan hound/cane corso high probability )
Mum: American staff x bull terrier x english springer spaniel

I've got a 6 yr old boreboel (South African mastif ) easily best dog I've owned, brilliant temperament. we've just had a Bub she's 6 months old now and the dog is gentle as hell, it's like she just knows what's going on.very intelligent also never had a break in id pros a pic but dunno how

Mine did a monumental shart
Mine did a monumental shart on my dive gear once, thankfully just sprayed my flippers but had the old man gagging....first and only time she has ever had a movement on the boat. If she can hold on for 12 or so hours overnight, she should be fine on the boat.

Have owned many breeds but never liked Poodles despite their intelligence. With a Golden retriever chucked in you have the best of all worlds. Very intelligent, easy to train and LOVES the water. A bit ball crazy though. Wont get any other breed again other than this designer dog.

Yellow lab, almost 3, has come good the last 12 months.
Prior to that he was a garden wrecking machine and I threatened to put him on gumtree most weekends.
He has the most amazing temperament with our kids 8 & 5 years old.
Well and truly part of family now, wouldn't trade him for quids.

1 dog Holly the border collie. Smart dog, will round up anything that moves. Loves going crabbing and netting the beach kid's dress ups lol. Would recommend for any active people especially with kids. Best dog I've ever had actually looking for another to keep this one company.

My dog is a chihauhau crossed with Australian terrier, looks like the Aust terrier with brown and white patches but thinks he's a savage guard dog. Very possessive and not scared to attack anyone he doesn't approve of.

Protective isn't the right word, slap your own thigh and he comes up and grabs your hand to make you stop.
Don't have to worry about someone pinching stuff out of the car, anything that touches it sets him off, snapping and snarling at the inside of the windows. Laugh though when you can be patting him with one hand inside the car and he's trying to bite your other hand through the window at the same time. Bit of a piss off having to clean dog slobber off the inside of the windows regularly

Maremma he’s alright and earns his keep looking after the property .. when he’s not on smoko . 14 year old Kelpie x blue heeler. Loyal bastard but struggles on cold mornings nowadays. And I bought my wife a Prince charles cavalier x papillon a couple of years ago. Nice dog but stupid and rather annoying. Never been much of a small breed person, prefer the working dogs

My dog
Is an 18 month old Choc Merle Border Collie.. named him Mocha..he's a farm pup from up near Dongara. He's damn smart and really intuitive... picks up on the vibe or energy of the person real quick. Very intelligent.. loves a chat and then responds. He'll gently hold yr hand and then place it on himself where he wants a pat or scratch. My partner only had to say the word "brush" and he's gone. Super loyal and comes fishing with us in the boat or down the beach. He just makes everyone happy or feel better... so we've knick named him "Doc Moch"

We have a 4yr old miniature daschund - short haired. Tan and black with the spots over the eyes. He is a right pain!! If your on the couch your hand must be on his head. Cant touch the wife - he barks at us!! Got a bark like a doberman but stands 20cm tall. Eats frogs like no tomorrow and dont touch his bone!! Walks around like his shit dont stink. Ripper dog but. Wouldnt trade him for quids

one 2 year old and as ball mad as a cut snake, the other which I got as a working dog on gnaraloo is about 9 and enjoying being a lady of leisure.
Wouldnt go another breed now , the loyalty of these dogs is beautiful to behold.
