What fish is it?

Hey guys and girls, my mate and I are in exmouth at the moment and are wondering what fish we saw swimming on top of the water, with mouths open. They weren’t feeding or anything, almost looked as though they were taking in air. They were big, with large tuna shaped tails. It looked so strange, two of these big fish just cruising on top of the water with mouthes open, not interested in bait or lures. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you for any feedback.
Cheers Fab

Hey dodgy!!! Good to hear from you!! It’s Fab from Team Euro! I’ve just had a look, and it’s definitely a milk fish. Thanks for your reply mate... Hope to see you again some day somewhere. We are still doing our yearly trips, Nik and I. We haven’t been back to thevenard, as unfortunately the place has outpriced us.
Cheers buddy Fab

Would be milkfish.
Big schools of them in places behind the reef. i did some underwater footage of them once, and they had some massive dart around as well. Would be a great challenge on SWF, I think.
