What grease do you use on your drags

I am having trouble finding Shimano drag grease in Bunbury so I just wanted to ask what you guys use on your drags. I have changed over to carbontex in a couple of reels so any advise would be appreciated. Cheers

I use Cal's drag grease. It's good stuff. You can get it on ebay if you can't find it anywhere else.

Cals
Cals, rubbed in and then rubbed off. You can hardly even tell its on there visually.
I did then the best that I knew how. When I knew better, I did better.

Inox MX8
I just use Inox MX8 extreme pressure grease, actually use it on almost every application. (wheel bearings, prop shafts, boat steering the list goes on) great in marine enviroment and has the extra benefit of PTFE.
Can't see any reason for specialized grease in a drag system.

I use Cals.
I use Cals but also use Quicksilver 2-4-C marine greese with teflon comes in a sqeezy tube I find this to be just as good. And as Bradz said rubbed in and then rubbed off less is better than more.

this could sound really
this could sound really silly, but what about that water proof plumbers oring grease? i havent opened any reel to look at the drag setup yet but i will need to soon, one of my eggbeaters is really tight and gets even tighter with the slightest adjustment. its a shame cos its only about a month old and i always rinse with fresh water after use
Good things come to those who bait.
