What happened to GOTONE?

Thanks to Fishwrecked i was carrying a GOTONE Bunbury discount card in my wallet in Victoria for months ( in anticipation) & getting WA fishing emails from them. Now I am here in WA I cant find them. Anyone know what happened?

mark at gotone in bunbury decided not to renew his franchise .. which i can fully understand .. pity the best fishing shop that was in the south west had to shut .. but now i get an excuse to travel to perth adn annoy honsu and ryan :P

so theywent broke ? all of em ? in woodvale its just an ownership name and some of the old staff still live there ;)

But there was a HUGE sale at the end of last year like 30% off on all reels!
was it like 50% of on some lures placcies etc. but it was a big sale.

Callum and others, both the
Callum and others, both the Woodvale and Bunbury store didn't go broke. As both stores opened within a month of each other, when the 5 year lease came to an end, both owners decided not to renew and pursue other interests.
Yes i am still here in Woodvale in a new fishing shop.

Yeah Ive been into BCF
but its not the same as a small shop. OK Bunnings is huge & good for DIY & stuff, but for fishing stuff anglers appreciate a personal interaction in a fishing shop.

Mark at Gotone Bunbury didn't go broke, he saw the writing on the wall and was smart enough to get out while he could. Not sure about the 'Gotone' franchise in general though, they may still be operating elsewhere in Australia.
Like you Feral, I've made a trip to Ryan and will probably make a lot more, although Gary at 'Outdoor Sports & Leisure is pretty good as a local alternative.

All good lads. Both myself (Bunbury) and Charlie at the Woodvale store decided not to renew our franchise agreements and pursue other interests as Brody said.
I'm currently pursuing my 5th month off, looking forward to my 6th month off! Better find a job soon, the missus is getting sick of me bumming around...
Give us a yell if you need a deckie BJ, well and truely time we got out for a fish mate.
