Must of been another reason I think. Adam got ripped by a dealer last year and they were named. And funnily enough there were a couple more members that had been ripped off by the same dealer as well.

If you want a bit of advice going back to the original thread. I would send an email to every Toyota dealership in the metro. (or however far you are willing to travel).
Let them know your exact specs required and tell them youare ready to act immediately. They need to come back with their best price asap.
I know people that have gone this way and has worked well. The larger dealerships are generally unwilling to do a deal but your smaller ones are a bit keener for the business.
As an example, it is widely known that the Darwin toyota dealership won't compete against alice or Adelaide. Plenty of guys pay for a flight, a nights accom, fuel home and a driving holiday including accom and still making good saving over buying locally.
I have closed this thread and the other has been deleted (accidently instead of unpublished so I could check it out) I am glad the moderator in charge got rid of the thread for me (I was out fishing) as there have been threats of defamation suits (sure every business throws these around when bad press of their company comes up)
In every case where I am threatened with any type of legal action and I don't know the exact circumstances - I remove that thread so I am not liable.
Its quite easy for you guys to throw around willy nilly these types of things because you have nothing to lose. I on the other hand do and I'm not prepared to take those chances.
If you feel this is serious enough, take it to today tonight/a current affair, but at this point in time I'm not willing to have it published as I don't want to entertain that risk.
