What have you seen with this warm water?

So what have you guys been seeing with this warmer water?
Goodz, hoookt and I got stuck into some shark mackerel yesterday. I had a double hookup on my boat and the amount of other sharkies that followed the hooked fish was incredible, wouldve been well over 50 fish swimming around the back of the boat.
5mins later we came across a nice big Manta Ray just chilling on the surface!
Was getting a reading of 23.5 degrees in that area.
So are you guys seeing anything unusual influenced by the warmer water yet?
Going by the maps looks like SOR is the place to be for our Northern visitors at the moment.

Trolled both sides of five
Trolled both sides of five fathom yesterday and not even a touch, looking at that chart I would have been in the right area, water temp readings upto 23.9. One thing I have seen is a fair few tiger sharks.

Seaward reef
We were out behind carnac around seaward reef, tried drifting the reef without much like, trolled for a bit and saw a crazy bust up on the surface. Many birds diving, but hitting a really concentrated patch on the surface, as we got closer we could see a shark and numerous fish thrashing on the surface. I didnt see any mackies, but to me definately looked like some sort of tuna species with a dark top upper body around 60-80cms long. Ben cast into the bustup but with no luck. We trolled around some more and spooked them. After another 15-20 mins and we see the same type of bust up and head back towards it with the lures out but unfortunately I was trying to troll the edge of the ball but I went clean through it and we spooked them again. Still got me wondering what they were!
Ben got a nice skippy and I got F/All for most of the day but managed to pull a beauty of a KGW near home time.

Ocean currents
I hope some research will go into this because from this thread it surely tells us that the change is well on the way. Have mud crabs been caught at Bunbury 20 years ago or are we seeing what some doomsdayers have been predicting ? I know we can not do anything about it , but watch this space , otherwise !
