In talks with a mate who is selling his 1970's 17'-20' pacemaker with 90 hp Mercury in line 6 motor.
what is the going price for one in reasonable condition licensed till end of year.

It would depend on the state
It would depend on the state of the hull internally and if there are any bulkhead cracks. There are guys that do hull inspections to potentially save you some major headaches. Besides that they are a magnificent hull. $3-4k at that age.

What ever price you come up
What ever price you come up with, add the cost of another motor....
So if you pick up the boat for 3-5k add second hand OB 10-15k you would be 13-20k all up
