boat rego gone up again

Just recieved my 2015 boat rego, up $20 on last year again.
Heres the increases from 2012 same boat.
2012 - $170
2013 - $174
2014 - $194
2015 - $214.
The pamplet that came with the rego explains where our money goes.
Boat rego fees support the delivery of boating related safety programs and infrastructure projects.
* boating safety education campaigns
* navigation aids
* signage
* compliance
* investigations
* grant programs for boat ramps and other public boating facilities.
More like topping up the govs pockets.

26% increase in three years.
We all have to pay for Cols monuments some how. You would have thought loosing the AAA rating would be enough to pay for every thing, seems not

why dont they
why dont they get rid of the stupid sticker they send you out that would save a couple of hundred thou in over all cost we dont need rego stickers on our cars now why do we need them on our boats

money goes to nav aids
the nav aid at the end of bent street has been out for over a year council say its a marine dept problem marine dept say its a council problem thats all good untill some one goes a over t coming in at night
