which charter in perth?

 Hi,

I'm new here and i'm looking to go on a fishing charter in Perth. Can anyone recommend me someone or some company which focus more on fishing itself rather than comfort etc...

I've been to a few charters which are located somewhere else and most have been disappointing. (meaning they are more orientated towards families having a good time or towards non anglers who are happy getting any fish of any size.) I'm looking for pure sport fishing. i'm sure you guys know what i mean.

Read pretty good reviews about Mills charter but i'm just afraid they'll be the former. So any suggestions? All are welcomed.

btw, casting for pelagics on light tackle is my kinda thing. ;)

Cheers,

Ed

Not really any charters

Not really any charters specialising in casting lures at pelagics in Perth. Al Bevan at Shikari would probably be the closest thing to what you are after.

Pretty much, Al's Shikari or White at Jurien Seasport, its only 2hrs up the coast.

Kind of depends when you're coming? The demersal ban is on now, kinda cuts down on the targets!

alas jigging for sharks isnt

alas jigging for sharks isnt on the cards if you go with Saltwater Charter as the skipper has shallow water spots
and same again for Al bevan who has deep and shallow sambo spots with no sharks.

So these two charters have the upper hand imo

Cheers

ahahaha shushhhh,

duffman.... im afriad craigos spots have been infiltrated by the odd shark mate, i can assure you of that.

and duffman i totally agree with SW craigo is abotu the fishing no so much a capital based buisness and it is paying off for him, if i ever paid to go out on charters i would consider saltwater but as i dont pay for any charters and enjoy my time out on the water helping people catch fish etc just as much as me fishing.
