how long
were they in the freezer for. Those tails look like they have massive freezer burn.

They were on ice till thursday morning then in the fridge till this morning.I just ate them and they were good.I ended up with a dozen mullet and a bony herring as well
just do it.

If you're interested...
....there's a thriving lure fishery for them. Some claim to have caught YFW to 40cm, I personally haven't seen bigger than 36.
On another note, many tailor around? And what were the sizes like? I ask because I like to fish around the Pt Grey area and normally go pretty well on tailor with stickbaits and poppers, but this year's been fairly quiet.

I had the tailor hit the net at 10.45PM as I was rolling the net up .It was bang on 300mm
