Whiting Effort

Hi All, so it's been a while since my last post, finally got a chance to wet a line this morning my partner, we started out going to Bluewater for some advice on tackle and bait, was greeted by a nice and influential saesman on what to buy, and not what to buy.. Lures all the way as bait will only get you blowies, so I got both just in case.. after spending ages blooping this whiting lure, I got nothing, my partner was on the bait and had two whiting, so another trip back to the tackle store to pick up some more bait saw another five fish caught, all up seven fish, I got two my (as usual) lucky partner got five.
Anyway looking forward to a yummy dinner tonight!

mate I use only whiting
mate I use only whiting poppers and stick baits, and im seeing whiting almost every cast and easily getting a dozen fish a session. Last session saw us get 22.
Don't disregard the lures, once your in the right place and got the technique sorted your success rate will dramatically improve.

I really need to talk to someone to find out what I'm doing wrong with lures then... Never caught anything off a friggin lure.

Thanks Bodie, funnily enough my mate went down to the same spot and caught six Whiting all on small poppers yesterday..
