G'dayAlthough i dont have
G'day
Although i dont have much experience with whiting on lures i do know that small soft plastics can perform very well.
The Berkley Gulp 2 inch sandworms have worked well for me, although many people argue they are a bait, not a lure.
Basically any small plastics that resembles a worm, prawn etc. should do the trick. I've also found that bright colours like reds, oranges, and pinks work better.
As far as surface lures go small poppers can work well, and many people say that 'clear' coloured poppers are definetely the way to go, but im not too sure about that one :)
Anyway i hope i helped ya mate,
cheers

Haven't targetted them before
Haven't targetted them before but have caught a few on a Halco rmg scorpion and also a small blade (TT 1/4 i think). former from beach and latter in the river, both lures were bright orange colours.
P.s try doin a quick search sometimes for general questions like this
