Who is going to Brave it?
howmany of you going to take on the winds this weekend?
its been a while since Ive caught a decent fish...hold on a while since Ive wet a line!!@#!$@
Sat in my boat last night and wrote down all my GPS co'ords i had reminising of the fish i caught from the locations. Today dropped the boat off to Chivers for the new GPS to be fitted (lowrance HDS unit) and while they were at it mentioned a few small issues i was having with the engines, is gonna cost me a bit......
But Ive come to the conclusion.....stuff the weather im going anyway!!!!!!!
No fish in the freezer, boats going green coz its seen more fresh water than salt!!!
Not many people have been out over the past few weeks due to the weather, so there might be plenty of fish moving about in the stirred up water!!!
Who else is going???
Long weekend i would expect the ramps to be quite busy, but being in a bigger boat im still heading out 20-25 miles!!!

Still a few days to see how
Still a few days to see how its going to pan out, might clear up a little... hopefully. I think this is the only month a year I havent even gone for a fish (let alone caught one).
At least if the wind picks up a fair bit, the sound might still offer some options (though might scare off the squid if its too rough/murky)
Dont know why, but seabreeze seems to think Lancelin will have less winds. Go for a tow to escape the blow?

Bugger it im going out Saturday for a night fish from busselton.
Going to keep an eye on those winds come closer to the day but so far doesn't look to bad to head out. I don't even care if I catch nothin but a cold it will be nice just to get out there and get the hull wet.

Saturday looking OK
But breezy but offshore early, the 4 metre swell wont make it comfortable but it is dropping rapidly all day ..........16Knots E dropping to 9 knots later (windguru - Rottnest latest prediction)
