Hi all,
I am looking for some advise WRT transducer mounting position, looking at the instructions everything looks good, but once I reach approx 10kts in anything deeper than 8m the picture goes to shit.
The hull is on quite a sharp angle so can't sit as flush as my old trailcraft, just want to see where/how everyone else has mounted theirs.
using a Lowrance Hook9 with a 80/200 transducer
Cheers
Leigh

Lowrance sounder
I have had 2 Lowrance sounders on 2 previous boats. Then the 3rd elite 7 on my current boat would always go to crap once I put a bit of speed on. So I purchased a Hook7. 1 for navigation & 1 for finding bottom. The hook7 still plays up. I think Lowrance have an inherent problem with this

Take it to the yard
Go and see Willy and have a mounting plate welded on.
Always good to look at what's going on in the shed.
