mums giving me a choice for my 16th birthday fly up to karratha and go out on a boat with my dad drive home back to perth fishing like all the way home OR!! getting my RST ?????

How often do you get to go on a giant fishing trip wth your dad? I know i never do.
And your RST will be waiting for whenever your ready. RST is only one part of it, will still need money to get out.
Get a job and do both ;)

I would have chosen the same
Don't need an RST if going out with another licensed skipper. Unless you have your own boat and go alone or take others out.
