I was on the beach at Guilderton/Moore river last Sunday, and the water was full of weed. The river mouth looked open from a distance with lots of murky brown water out in front of it.
Was up there on monday having a look for the coming weekend. some beaches were full of weed others not so much. drive around a bit and will be able to find a bit of clear water with minimal weed to have a crack in.
Nah, we didn't get there till late arvo and didn't settle on a spot till just on dark and only managed one Wobbegong, a stingray and missed a couple of decent hook ups. We had no issue with weed where we were but there was heaps around so you want to get up there in the light with enough time to look around. Fella just up the beach from us got a 60cm Mulloway. I'm probably gonna head up on my own tomorrow for another crack.
