window tint advice

Hi Fishwreckers, anyone got recommendations for where to get a quality window tint? Don't want darkest legal, maybe one lighter for night time driving for an old bloke. NOR but that doesn't really matter, just want to get a good job. Any ideas of cost too would be appreciated. It's for a medium SUV. Cheers guys

Had a couple of different
Had a couple of different brands in my time..... Whoever you go with, get 3M tinting. It's the only tint I have had that handles the austrailan heat.

Go TKO titing in Carlisle, they do all the show cars and know how to do an awesome job and really cheap too !

Window tinting...
...could never understand the reasons for it, other than:
1. Serial nose picking problem.
2. Ugly missus/kids/dog.
3. Illegal activity whilst driving(phone/shave/wank/etc).

I'll assume you're kidding. If for nothing else it provides protection from UV so you don't have to apply suncream before going for a drive during the day. The hole in the ozone layer must sit squarely above Perth metro as it only takes 3 seconds without protection to get burnt to a crisp! Even if you're flippant about protecting your own skin, think of the skin of your kids.

That's a bit of harsh comment about your fellow perthites.
I'm going to get rid of my tinting right away if that's what people are thinking about those with tinted windows.
It also explains why some people push their faces hard up against the windows of my car trying to look inside, and I used to think they where purely casing it out to see was there anything worth breaking the window and pinching it.

To make life easier when reversing don't tint the rear windows, as who needs sun protection there in a SUV.
