windy harbour development plans ??

was tuned into the abc radio at 7am this morning , caught a short conversation , the dj was asking callers to give comment about a ''new '' proposal to open windy harbour up in the near future ?/
anyone else hear this or know what the story is behind it ??
cant find anything in the usual places ,
id rather they develop Northcliffe than windy

A new group of blocks are up for sale (now or soon). If power goes in then the quiet little spot will change forever.

Why fix it if it wasn't
Why fix it if it wasn't broken, that shack that was free for to public use at the river mouth was gold. People looked after it, absolute shame to see it demolished

I think the blocks are scattered through the tenement where the leases have run out. Was there a month a go and seen tender signs on a couple of vacant areas including the old VMR base.

I hope they don't put power on down there. I have been going down there for nearly 30 years. Awesome place where the work phone don't ring!!
