Woodies Surprise...

Went to have a morning flick at woodman point this morning. Thought they maybe a few skippy, herring or even salmon trout around. Was really hoping for bonito. But low and behold.....15mins later after the first cast....a mini sambo jumped on my soft plastic....managed another half a dozen more later...plus the usual herring.

Thats another species caught on the old Bass Minnow.

Hoju's mini sambo

Juvinile Sambo? WOW!

Sun, 2007-06-10 09:31

Bloody I always go to Woodman's Point and catch the usual Herring and Skippy but never thought of Sambo's will be there! But I usually tangle up with them at East Fremantle at any boat moorings. What action did you use on the softplastic?

Cheers..
