With having the last couple of days off work it was time to get my butt into gear with exmouth only around the corner now !
Finally onto the last rod to bind up, and a heap more to epoxy, but finally the end is near.
Oh and dont stress Frank (Decella), i will show you a pic when they are all finished !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some rod builers porn there. I have seen one of Matt's rods and the leather grip is worth the extra dollars, really sets the rods off.

Rod building
Mako,
Did you teach yourself rod building? It's something i've always wanted to do.
I might have to give it a try on a cheapy to see how I go before going for the bling versions.

some nice looking gear there matt.
i dont think frank needs any egging on, him and gary have enough already. ha ha ha
i was at there place a few weeks ago and my eyes are still hurting, if i didnt spend so much time and money on my hotrod that is what would be in my shed for sure.
and dont worry i am still trying to get it in there its just hiding it all from the wife!(slowly but surley)
if you dont mind, what would the finshed cost be on one of the 15kg rods, and do you make them for other people or is it your hobby.
cheers ron

hey ron, trust me frank
hey ron, trust me frank wants to win that comp rod pretty bad lol.
the cost on a 15kg built up with similar specs will leave you with not much change from a grand especially with leather grip. and im doing these for myself to have a full set of matching pairs, but i can build them for customers thru the shop as well, im actually in the middle of doing one for a FW member atm thats just about finished but he went just a eva foregrip.
