Caught a few fish today at Mindarie, one of which was a herring, when it came time to pack up I started cleaning the fish and thought, oh Mr Herring has pooed himself with a long poo coming out of his butt. Looked closer and it was a bloody worm making a break for it! Kinda put me off eating the rest of the fish (though I still might).

Anyone else come across this? I know fish also get worms but is it common? Harmful etc?
