Saragosa 18000 with Monster
Saragosa 18000 with Monster mesh rod is waiting under the tree, can't wait to have a play with it. Really keen to head out jigging after I'm back from busso on the 4th or 5th of Jan if anyone is going ;)
Also all new snorkling gear which will get a good work out in busso too. Only 3 more sleeps!

Undecided but......
I need to pop into the Shack in the next day or so to have a look around.... The old farts are making my kit look ancient. I'm looking at a light rig for shore based angling to target herring and gar with the odd chance of a tailor hookup. UncleStu recons my small rig looks a bit "stout". Cheeky bastard.
What do you recon Matt? I need the length on the rig but "less stout" LOL.
For the missus I bought this u-beaut set of digital scales so she can get the Nanna thing right in the kitchen. These scales are cool because the can handle anything up to 10 kilos. Just perfect for recording my catch!!!! I dream on.....

Ill get given something i didnt want...
lol so i have my eye on a new jigging rod...just torn between a couple of choices at the moment.
oh and i just got a sender reciever unit for diving from the states....so you can always find the boat without spending the dive looking at your compass for alot of the time. keen to try that out in the new year :)

Will you trust it Kane?
haha, had a bit of fun with one of those gizmos many moons ago Kane when they first came onto the market. Had a very wealthy eccentric Dr diving with us, who had this new you beaut homing device, which hung off the boat.
He was last up; so we pulled anchor and quietly idled away from him as he tried to track to the boat. After 10 minutes of zig zagging, he surfaced 50 metres away. Once onboard he promptly abused the piece of crap and through it over board.
Nothing was ever said.
Cheers Pete
