I agree
But theres nothing like a photo holding up a good fish. Its near on impossible to get a water photo that shows true size. I love catching and releasing great fish but the least I want for my troubles is a quick photo which I think isnt too much to ask. Not trying to start a debate but just curious on how many guys would be happy with a water photo of a good fish.

Hard call
Difficult question.
I guess you just gotta look inside yourself and say "Is my ego worth more than this fish's well being?"
I have seen fish killed just for a photo - kind of defeats the purpose of catch and release.
But - yeah - tough call sometimes.

I woulda gaffed it, killed
I woulda gaffed it, killed it and grilled it.
nah jk honestly if they did release it i think 250kg is way to big to drag over the edge of a boat, probably would have been crushed under its own weight.
some bream i caught..http://s620.photobucket.com/home/lightertheif/allalbums
