Yardie Creek crossing advice

Hi guys - heading up to Exmouth week and will be staying in town for a week before heading down to Winderabandi. Chasing advice on crossing at Yardie Creek at the moment. Keen to avoid the Ningaloo Station track if the crossing is reasonable at the moment. Towing a 4.75m Quinnie. Any advice appreciated. Cheers, Scott.

Ring

Ring the mob who do the cruises up Yardie creek and find out off them if the bar hasn't broken out to sea. They have had quite a bit of heavy rain recently and it doesn't take too much for the creek to start running.

Be a shame to drive all the way down there and have to return back to town and down a 100km to the station turn off and in towards the coast

 Its got a wierd little

Its got a wierd little channel thing happening at the moment. You can get accross quite easily just expect to drive through water with a bit of momentum and get the underside of your car fully salted.  I was cringing the other day watching cars and boats going through. Its only hard in the one line straight accross and you cant avoid the little channel.
