Not sure on conditions. The way to get in is turn right onto Ritter Rd off old vasse rd.Follow all the way and you will come to the carpark keep following track and it takes you to the base of the dunes.
Just follow the marked track through the dunes and you will hit the beach.
Let me know what the track is like.
Cheers Choc.

Just got back yesterday.
Just got back yesterday. Spent a couple of days there and only managed 1 Salmon, couple of tailor and the usual herring. Wether was beut with no rain. Just a little weed.
Choc is right on the directions.
Track is good. The big dune in the middle was the hardest but with the right aligment and low in 2nd(auto box) you will cruise right up.

I was there 2 weeks ago,
I was there 2 weeks ago, tracks are piss, they made the sand ramp up into the dunes easier, as all the F*** witts woth psi at like 18-20 couldn't make it up. We got 15 salmon in 2 days and 2 herring. Surf poppers were worth their weight in gold. The morning was the hotter sesh. We found that gutters with deeper, and calmer water were better. Don't wait too long for bites IMO keep moving if you get not hits in 1/2 hour. Again, take surf popper/gang paternosters. Surf pooper got 12 of 15 fish, but we lost about the same. all 4-6kg fish.
Pls keep ur tires down, the tracks in the dunes are soooooo bad with corrigations cos all the noobs and yobos go in with tyres way too high, and they make the ruts in the sand. we have a Nissan patrol diesel running skinnies and we had em on 14.
Saw some guy stuck halfway up thr big middle hill. WE asked him what psi he was running, he says 18!!! and he was loaded down so... and we says to put em down and he reckons he dididnt need to, so we drove away (we didn't leave him, his mates were coming back)
Fishing and catching are two different things. But i want to learn how to catch.
