Yellow tail Kingfish albany

On my last inspection we found some news papers under the floor of the Eclipse island light house of the coast of Albany.
The intire paper was an interesting read with Pills to cure everything, pre WW2 events, 8 acres in spearwood for 145 pounds! Best of all i found this article which was the closest to a fishing article i could find.
These papers have been fwded to the local museum

Must have had a taxonomy name change at some point since 1937.

Interesting reading
I would love to visit some of these lighthouses on uninhabited offshore islands for "work" ,there would be some quality land based fishing for kings on Eclipse and Breaksea!

It deffinately looks promising.
Ive never fished either of them. But have put alot of thought to how i would. There would be a fair amount of planning involved and im not even sure what the islands are classified as (reserve.. ect) The engineering involved back in the day to land on the island is elaborate, with cranes, cable cars, pulley systems and rail ways. Just landing on the island with a boat is almost impossible on eclipse. The angles are sharp with shallow bolders at the base and there are no beaches. On breaksea there is a jetty but its badly deterioated.
