Big black bums, a sign of not thrashed grounds. The yellow tape on the sinker (attractor) and long bottom leader that trails the attractor......i like!

As for the sinker the heat shrink also helps protect the boat..

Yeah we use to do the same with our sinkers in broome to stop the fisherman hitting the side of the boat and scratching it. It also helps when the sinkers are shinny, because it stops the GT's trying to eat them all the time!lol. Funny but not really when your retieing them all the time. We put black heat shrink on ours.

Keep it tight, reeeeeeel tight!

A skipper for West Coast Angling club, did the same out the back of rotto, with a long bottom dropper which trailed the floor, he did very well on the Kg's at that particular spot!
