Crays and squid off hillarys this morning
Morning all. Down at the boat ramp at 7am this morning, slight breeze blowing. Plan was to take a mate out from work for a dive for crays and while he was down, i was going to catch a feed of squid. Only a short ride out to 10m of water, and dropped the pick.
My mate took off with his loop, to harass the crays. I grabbed my rod and 2nd cast i was on to a nice squid. In half an hour managed to bag three nice squid, and lost two at the side of the boat. My mate returned from his dive with a nice cray in the catch bag. He missed a couple as he was rusty on using the loop, but said he saw another 5 crays on his dive.
Talked to a couple of guys at the ramp that checked there pots the last couple of days, said they have caught nothing.
Back to the ramp at 9am happy as, lovely morning on the water..work sucks

Worst Part
That is the worst part of going out before work......... having to come in when the weather is real nice

Dont have to go back to work till tomrw morning, just have some work to catch up on around the house, before i fly out. Would of been nice to spend some more time out there for sure.
