I dont reckon its that big - just some trick photography from Gallash. He's a sneaky bugger, you gotta watch him.
Great capture on 10kg - sports fishing at its best!

lure
Got him on the pink and white soft grassy which is now looking worse for wear, especially after the wahoo chewed on it earlier. Had him under the boat and he snipped it right at the end, luckily enough he left a burr on the end of the line and the lure stayed on. I'd left all my marlin rigging gear and lures at home coz I was meant to be going to the murions, but some dickhead at bundegi stalled on the ramp and couldn't get it started and I wasnt going to tow him up the ramp and headed to tantas instead after 10 minutes of waiting 2nd in queue. In the end I just tied a hook onto the grassy and coz I didn't have any spacers or crimping pliers, I just used crimps I had in the bottom of my bag to set the hook back a bit. Got rather lucky that it held together!
He mowed the right hand black oscar a fair few times with great visuals of it, after he grabbed the hook the last time I thought it was gone, 30 secs later he took the left and yahooo, went friggn nuts. Was pretty stoked as I thought it wasn't going to happen. In hindsight and speaking to a few people, he was definately 45+ and closer to the 50. Happy days, just check the size of that sail out.

Now that Tim Jeffs has left
you've picked up on his arsy mojo have you?
It is a cracking fish, pity you didn't have a better camera to do it some real justice. Not a fish you'll get everyday at that size.
