Yeah, the size up that way is a lot better.

Picked up the herring on a gang of 1/0 Tarpons with a baby mulie, unweighted. Use the same rig for the tailor aswell, they love the baby mulies!

After a while we just use small skinny pop jnrs and get em on poppers, great fun watching half a dozen herring all going for your lure.

Yeah we head out there quite a lot. How bout yourself?

My mate even landed a 3 foot bronzie last time we went there just as the sun went down.

The deeper water also lets the tailor hang around a bit longer too.

There is a s#*tload of whiting all up that way. they can get hell annoying if you have to fish with a sinker. but yeah they make great bait for snapper!

Crazy! never seen that happen before. but there are a few biguns cruising along the bottom of the reef.

Have also seen some massive buffas along there, they are great fun on 2lb gear if you can get them to bite.
