first cast flathead

got this first cast today using a snapback in the pumpkinseed colour, went 51cms, was one of 6 that I caught today. got another at 49cms and the rest were between 30 and 40cms

was caught around canning bridge fisherboy, snapbacks are about the only blowie resistant plastic ive found, they'll still smash them up but they last a lot longer than other brands.

cheers Faulkner Family, was a fairly average day for flathead today actually, last few weekends have been getting 10-12 flathead a day, not all large fish like this one, but there is a lot around, just a matter of finding them
