we camped @ pilgs - exmouth , for 4 days dec -jan . best spot ever , had the boat anchored up just off the low tide line and hit the back of the reef most days. this day we got up at sporrows and headed for the gap out from pilgs. all was good a little swell, perfect conditions . me and the deckie headed straight out from the gap and dropped our skirts and don'd our teasers about the 35mtr line. we wer in the water for about 20 mins - 50mtr line and the sailie hit . we wer runnin 2 skirts a pink 210 and a blue green number 110, stickface stalker teaser and a home made bird teaser [THANKS 2 DEEPWATER]. perfect hook up mouth only given us a good fight with plenty of dancing and not 2 much damage on the fish.20 min later after a bit of chasin and plenty of curry on the fish , keepin its health in mind , in the boat for a few pics and back in the water asap. the fish was still in good sorts and was ready 2 go after a little bit of swimmin. we dropped a marlin shortly after and then it all went quiet.
im not 2 sure on the weight? but a 2mtr wide boat , fish was on the angle -a bit of overhang , maybe 3mtr fish.
stacer seahorse 4.2 mtr with a 30 yam 2 stroke . ive had it for 5 yrs . 2mtr wide body deep hull , low false floor . i love it. sea worthy for up2 20knts . ideal for camping and fishin.

Arduous for all concerned by the looks LOL
Top effort! Something to ponder over a cold beer in the arvo, and the days, weeks and years to follow.
Cheers, Vince
