I was going to say snapper at
I was going to say snapper at first, because it definitely looks like one at a glance. But those teeth look like a baldie (could be the water, its hard to tell), but the tail looks flat and not forked at all. Head angle looks steep too (but I initially thought that was just the water). So after a bit of umming, i'm going baldie :p

snapper was first guess ,
snapper was first guess , but , as above , it's thins out down the tail like a baldie.
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

thought snapper, but i deffinetly think its a baldie
thought snpper at first, but judging by the roundish head and rear tail fin,id say its a massive baldchin gropper or bluebone, also just wondering if you guess it right do we get a fillet,or does the person who gueses right gets to be your deckie for the next fishing trip or even join you for a meal of fish ,

Sorry no prizes
Just a bit of fun.
If you are like me you call each fish for about a hundred different things as it comes up, (99 of them dhufish... in hope).
Yep those that read the forum report would have correctly picked if for a Pinky, but I thought I would post like this as it has features of several species when the water plays tricks on the camera lens. (Almost loooks like a "Roosterfish" the way the water makes the dorsal fins look all spread out like that.)
Alfred the MOJO is almost back, just need a few big fish in the remainder of the season and I think it'll be back for good.
Cheers
