Ollie, i can absolutely say this a a dead fish and it appears to have had it's throat cut. I can't say much more than that as my experience with the violent death of fish of this size is limited - i have seen others that had been battered to death at Sidey's Fish and Chip shop in Busso. A clue is the shadow of someone who appears to be holding a Chiko roll - this may have been a professional job.
