deffinately some fat herring around lately. i picked up one this morning that measured 33cm and was extremely fat.

is that what you call a burley trail
sort of, its that oily part of the water were the oil has come out of the burley you use
givin up on the river, still have to catch you first tailor though
who says ive given up on the river?
i think "slick" is a better term for it

of fat herring around lately, also biting madly.
caught 45 fat ones in no time on last trip
i went spearing yesterday and there was a few big herring around
i've never heard of streak
caught him just before the dog beach starts at north leighton
you said you caught these fish SOUTH of the river how come you said leighton thats north of the river

are they hard to catch? i've only ever caught one, and that was cause it randomly came past the spot I was fishing. I take it they're not a common fish?
the dart is common up north but go as far down south as bunbury

fish the east coast beaches & they are in plague proportions. The bigger ones go hard... plenty of fun.
